Physical appearance: Middle Eastern descent. Long Black hair, starting to go grey, neatly trimmed moustache and beard. Stylish designer suits. Italian leather loafers. Played by – Oded Fehr
History: Antoine was born and raised in Israel. He served 2 years in the Israeli Navy then worked for 4 years in security for El Al (Israel's airline). Propositioned so much during that time, he decided to try and see if he could make a living as a gigolo. He succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. It seemed the more he charged, the more the men, and occasional women, paid. Devoting himself to the study and practice of pleasure, Antoine quickly climbed to the height of his profession. He’s been able to live luxuriously and put away a large sum against retirement when the eventual effects of age and time take their toll on his beauty and skills. For the last 6 years he’s been servicing stars and high-powered corporate executives in Southern California.
He’s over his fascination with tropical fish.
Antoine works out for several hours each day, since his body is how he makes his living. He prefers to use his muscles in real sports activities like swimming and martial arts, though he will work out with weights in a pinch. He’s always interested in learning new sports, be they single player like the javelin or skiing, or team sports like ultimate Frisbee or basketball.
He’s just turned 30 and is battling the feeling that his career is over, with the logic that he’s got at least ten good years left.
Personality: Antoine is proud of his success. His personal beauty used to be a source of immense amusement, but now that he’s turned 30, it’s a source of anxiety. He’s been told countless times that the grey at his temples and in his beard makes him even more sexy, so he doesn’t color them. Still, he knows his days as a gigolo are numbered. He finds this thought depressing and uses it as an impetus to exercise more and work more. He’s convinced himself that he’s moving back to the Mediterranean to be close to his family, but he’s really trying to run away from things that remind him of his age, like the pretty faces in Southern California that get younger every year.
It’s not like him to be down or feel despair. He hopes he’ll ‘get over it’ soon. Normally he’s quite jolly and positive and makes his clients happy with just his presence and upbeat attitude. While with a client, Antoine is focused on that person’s happiness and pleasure. He is expert at maximizing both.
While canvassing for clients at Hollywood parties (where he’s always on the guest list) Antoine is a like a bird of prey. His presence is hypnotic. People feel special if his glance lights on them and honored if he chooses to offer his services to them. He’s bubbly and quite charming.
When he’s not on the prowl, Antoine can be quite internalized and self-contained. He’s always noticed but not the center of attention unless he chooses to be. He ‘goes within’ to recharge his sparkling personality batteries.
